The Colt is manufactured to the strictest aeronautical standards. The fuselage is made of ALCLAD 2024 aeronautical aluminum with solid rivets, guaranteeing high torsional strength and low weight. The survival cell is chrome-molybdenum steel, as used in racing cars, providing maximum safety for the occupants.
Semi-cantilever wings provide great strength and low weight. The engine fairing, wingtips, spats and doors are made of carbon fiber for a better finish and aerodynamics. All electrical cables and connectors used on Colt are aircraft standard.
